For over 25 years, Cara Mattison has led organizational effectiveness initiatives, change management efforts, and business strategy across hospitality, non-profit, senior living, manufacturing, and government sectors. Her experience ranges from local turnarounds to deploying global initiatives across five continents.
Cara’s practice integrates internal talent solutions and customer-facing strategies. She began her career developing tools for recruitment, onboarding, training, leadership development, change management and performance management. Later, as a global brand leader, she built on this work to create customer-focused, revenue-generating innovations in the hospitality industry.
Her projects include elevating The Ritz-Carlton’s butler service, promoting a culture of dignified aging in senior living, maximizing Jewish student involvement on campuses, and increasing bar revenue at Courtyard Hotels’ 950 Bistro restaurants.
Cara is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and earned her MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
A life-long learner, Cara has continued to build her skills throughout her career.
Cara often collaborates with partners who provide additional expertise as coaches, communicators, and analysts, delivering thoughtful and integrated client solutions.
